DuPont: Dieter Engel

DuPont: Dieter Engel has been
appointed global director, specialty
coatings, DuPont Performance
Coatings. Dr. Engel, who had been
director of technology with DuPont
Performance Coatings, succeeds
Michael Gauss and will relocate from
the U.S. to Germany.
Douglas L. Moore has been named
vice president and general manager of
the newly established advanced coatings
systems business. Mr. Moore, who
had been director of refinish systems
Americas, will relocate to Wuppertal.
(DuPont’s specialty coatings business
is the new name of DPC’s industrial
coatings business unit. It forms part of
the advanced coatings systems unit
alongside the powder coatings business
unit, according to DuPont.)
In the U.S., Troy Weaver, who had
been market sales manager for
DuPont refinish business in eastern
Pennsylvania, has been named performance
alliance manager. He
replaces Tim Carmack, who has been
named economy and production shop
segment leader.
Tim Ferguson has joined DuPont
Powder Coatings as a senior sales representative.
Mr. Ferguson’s territory
includes northeastern Ohio, western
Pennsylvania, western New York and
Ontario, Canada.
