TNEMEC NAMES CORTELYOU: Peter F. Cortelyou

Tnemec Company, Inc.: Peter F.
Cortelyou has been named president
and chief operating officer.
Mr. Cortelyou originally joined
Tnemec in 1975 as controller and office
manager. Prior to being named president
in 1986, he served as vice president,
finance, and executive vice president.
Mr. Cortelyou has also served as
a director of the National Paint &
Coatings Association (NPCA).
As CEO, Tom Osborne will collaborate
with Mr. Cortelyou on issues of
business strategy and will continue to
be involved in major business decisions
and industry relations. In addition to
his responsibilities as CEO, Mr.
Osborne will remain on Tnemec’s board
of directors and will soon begin a twoyear
term as president of the NPCA.
Tnemec has also announced that
George Shannon will become senior
vice president, business development.
In this role, Mr. Shannon will work
from his office in Pittsburgh, PA, and
will assume oversight responsibilities
for Tnemec’s activities in the water
tank market and will be responsible
for other matters of new business
development.
