BYK-Chemie Launches

Published August 10, 2005
l BYK-Chemie has added BYK-102 for VOC-free systems and BYK-017 silicone defoamer to its line of defoamers for aqueous systems. BYK-012 is an efficient mineral oil- and silicone-free defoamer for aqueous systems. It is especially recommended for emulsion paints and emulsion plasters with a PVC range from 30%-85%. Due to its resistance against alkalines, BYK-012 shows excellent results and long term storage stability in silicate systems, according to the company. BYK-012 also performs well in aqueous air drying and baking industrial coatings, overprint varnishes and in the defoaming of polymer dispersions. BYK-017 is developed for the defoaming of waterborne pigment concentrates. It shows excellent defoaming during grinding and excellent performance even after prolonged storage of the pigment concentrate More info: BYK-Chemie, 49 (0) 281 670 217 • Fax: 49 (0) 281 670 660 • E-mail: frank.dederichs @byk.com • Web: www.bykchemie.com.
