DOW EMULSION POLYMERS
APPOINTS BABCOCK, ORHON
Dow Emulsion Polymers, which specializes
in latex-based paper coatings
technology, has named Donna Babcock
marketing executive and Murat
Orhon senior marketing manager for
its North American Coated Paper
business. Dow manufactures S/B
latex, solid plastic pigments and rheology
control products that are used in
coatings for fine papers, publication
papers and coated paperboard used in
packaging.
Babcock, who
will lead the
North American
market team, is
responsible for
implementing
product development,
technical
service, customer
management and manufacturing to
support the sale of synthetic binders
and pigments. She will also be responsible
for coated paper/paperboard
strategic market planning.
Orhon will handle certain commercial
leadership, business analysis and
reporting and conference planning
responsibilities, and work closely with
Babcock in the customer/account management
areas.
