ACE HARDWARE PRESIDENT
AND CEO TO RETIRE
Ace Hardware’s president and CEO
David F. Hodnik will retire from the
hardware cooperative on April 1. The
company’s board has selected Ray A.
Griffith, the current vice president
and COO, as his replacement.
Griffith joined Ace in 1994 as director
of retail operations of Ace’s western
division and was named vice president
of retail development and marketing in
1997, vice president of merchandising
in 1998 and executive vice
president–retail in 2000. In April 2004,
he was promoted to his current position.
