Sherwin-Williams patents low-temp

Patent No. U.S. 6,822,058 B1
The Sherwin-Williams Company has received a patent for a thermosetting in-mold coating composition curable at a temperature below 300° F. The in-mold coating composition is comprised of from approximately 140 to 325 parts by weight of a polymerizable resin; from one to four parts by weight of a promoted peroxide comprising a tertiary organic perester; from one to six parts by weight of a polymer-bound catalyst comprising a transition metal physically bound to a polymeric composition; and approximately 0.2 to two parts by weight of an amine synergist comprising at least one aromatic tertiary amine.
