SARTOMER LAUNCHES
POLY BD 2035 TPU RESIN
Sartomer Company has launched a
new thermoplastic polyurethane
(TPU) resin based on polybutadiene
polyols. This new resin, Poly bd 2035
TPU, is designed to enhance the performance
of coatings, films, adhesives,
sealants and thermoplastic
elastomers (TPEs). Poly bd 2035 can
also be used for polymer modification
of traditional polyolefin and engineering
polymers for enhanced properties,
according to the company. Poly
bd 2035 is an 80 Shore A material
with a specific gravity of 0.96. It
offers resistance against strong acids
and bases, as well as resistance to
hydrolysis. Poly bd 2035 also offers
superior electrical properties. More
