ROSS INTRODUCES NEW LAB
AND PILOT PLANT MIXING SYSTEM
Charles Ross and Son Co. has introduced
a new mixing-discharge system
for the development and smallscale
production of viscous, non-flowing
products. The system is constructed
in type 316 stainless steel
and is polished to a 180 grit/easy-toclean
finish. The unit includes planetary
mixer and high speed disperser
agitators, follower plate discharge
system, thermocouple for temperature
readout, a jacketed vessel to
permit heating or cooling during processing,
vacuum construction for
operation to 29.5 hg, portable mixing
vessel with discharge valve in bottom
and independently variable speed
drives with digital readouts. More
