For its third quarter ending September 30, Sico’s sales were $83.4 million, a slight decline from the $83.8 million the company recorded in the same quarter of 2004. Company officials attributed the performance to the negative impact of the one-week shift between the two comparative periods and the divestiture of its interest in its European joint venture with Becker. Excluding these factors, third-quarter sales rose slightly, stemming from mainly higher selling prices, the company said.
