Richard Hogan has been named president
and CEO of Solvay Chemicals,
Inc. Hogan succeeds David Birney,
who will continue to hold the position
of president and CEO of Solvay
America, Inc. Hogan joined Solvay
Minerals, Inc. in 1991 as vice president
in charge of commercial operations
and became president.
