Tego Coating and Ink Additives has
introduced Tego Airex 945, 950 and 955
deaerators for high-solids, solventbased
automotive and industrial coatings.
Designed to deaerate and promote
flow and leveling, these three new products
prevent defects related to foam
such as pinholes and are recoatable.
Airex 945, based on a mixture of
polymers with a trace of polysiloxane, is
recommend for two-pack, high-solids
epoxy and polyurethane formulations.
It combines deaeration with excellent
flow and leveling properties. Airex 945
is supplied 25% active in mixture of aromatic
and other organic solvents and is
normally added at a level of 0.1-0.4%
based on the total formulation. Airex
950, a polyether siloxane copolymer
offers excellent deaeration with additional
flow promotion. It is supplied
100% and is normally used at a level of
0.2-0.7% based on the total formulation.
Airex 955 is a silicone-free deaearator
based on a proprietary mixture of polymers.
Airex 955 is supplied 100% active
