Specialty Coating Systems (SCS), Inc., has been acquired by Bunker Hill Capital (BHC), a private equity firm. SCS, which will continue to do business as Specialty Coating Systems, is a manufacturer of specialized conformal coating technologies and operates 10 coating facilities throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. SCS has been engineering and applying thin-film parylene polymer coatings to components in the medical, electronics, automotive, and military industries for nearly 35 years. Additionally, SCS designs and manufacturers liquid spray, dip and spin coating systems, and ionic contamination test systems.
