Rohm and Haas has launched Avanse resins, a new line of waterborne acrylics for the high performance coatings market. Avanse MV-100, a high-solids, acrylic binder, can be used in both primer and topcoat lines. Avanse resins offer considerable improvements in pigment distribution, allowing for improved gloss, corrosion control and hiding, according to the company.
