Charles Ross and Son Company has completed its 36th 500 cubic foot ribbon blender for a major chemical company. The blenders are constructed in stainless steel and are designed for operation under vacuum and internal pressure. All the blenders include jackets for heating and cooling. The drive systems include a 150 HP motor directly coupled to a heavy-duty reducer for operation at 22 rpm.
