Rohm and Haas Co. has been granted a patent for a powder coating composition comprised of a mixture of a first film-forming system comprising a glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) resin, a curing agent, and a catalyst; and a second film-forming system comprising a carboxyl terminated polyester, an acrylic resin, and a catalyst, wherein the film-forming system forms a coating having a gloss greater than 80% measured at 60°C and the second film-forming system forms a coating having a gloss less than 50% measured at 60°C.
