Rust-Oleum Corp. has announced a number of organizational changes. Rust-Oleum group president, Michael D. Tellor, who has led the Rust-Oleum organization for the last 12 years, will now assume the position of chairman and CEO of the Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Group.
Thomas Reed has been promoted to the position of president and COO of the Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Group. Reed has served in a number of key positions since he joined Rust-Oleum in 1983, most recently as executive vice president. In this new role, he is responsible for the day to day operations of all Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Group companies.
Edward Voor-hees has been promoted to president of the newly formed Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Group consumer division. In this new position, Voorhees is responsible for sales and marketing activities for Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Group companies in the U.S. A 23 year veteran of Rust-Oleum, Voorhees most recently served as Rust-Oleum senior VP of sales and marketing.
As part of this new division, William Spaulding, Home Depot global sales director, has been promoted to VP Rust-Oleum sales. Kurt Hardy, senior director of brand marketing, consumer business group, has been promoted to VP Rust-Oleum marketing. Lisa Stach, senior director of category management, has been promoted to VP Rust-Oleum/Zinsser category management. John Callinan, VP Zinsser sales and Thomas McNicholas, VP Zinsser marketing, will now also report to Voorhees.
To better align Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Group operations in the U.S. and Europe, William Whiting has been promoted to executive VP operations/Europe–Rust-Oleum/ Zinsser Group. In his new role, Whiting has operational responsibilities for Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Group companies in the U.S., Europe and UK. Under this new alignment, Chandra Srivastava, VP operations and CFO for Zinsser and David Innes, managing group director–Rust-Oleum/Zinsser Europe will report to Whiting.
