The business unit was formed to offer innovative solutions to the landscape coatings industry and provides a full line of mulch colorants and equipment. Colorbiotics will focus exclusively on the research, development, sales and support of landscape coatings products.
Colorbiotics will operate as an independent business unit within Becker Underwood. According to the company, the formation of Colorbiotics will allow its team to focus exclusively on the rapidly growing landscape coatings market, which is expanding as consumers invest in landscaping to improve the appearance of their residences.
Two Colorbiotics mulch colorant products are currently in the market—Select and Mulch Magic. The company also manufactures the Infusion, Second Harvest and Sahara lines of coloring systems.
In addition to color-enhanced mulch products, Colorbiotics will deliver colorant for play sand, golf course sand, aggregate rock and rubber mulch.
