Smithchem & Young LLC has appointed Robert Whiteley to the newly created position of vice president, business development. Whiteley will be responsible for growing the company’s customer and supplier base in the Northeast U.S. with an emphasis on expanding sales in coatings, inks, plastics, rubber and adhesives.
