Benjamin Moore makes executive: Yvan Dupuy

Abrams joined Benjamin Moore as director of manufacturing following the company’s 1995 acquisition of S.L. Gillman Paint, an Atlanta-based manufacturer of industrial coatings owned and operated by Abrams and his two brothers. He was elected vice president, operations in 1999, and was named executive vice president and COO in 2001 and became president and COO in 2003.
Dupuy joined Benjamin Moore as a sales representative in 1977. After serving in various management positions, he was named president in 1996 and CEO in 2000. It was during Dupuy’s tenure as president and CEO that Benjamin Moore was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway.
