DuPont Automotive Systems (DAS) Brazil received the 2006 Outstanding Enterprise award from Honda Automoveis do Brazil at the company’s annual Suppliers Conference.
The DuPont Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) automotive coatings business in Brazil was recognized by Honda for quality control, technical assistance and overall contributions to product quality.
Honda recently invested $40 million in the paint shop at its Brazilian operation, the sixth largest Honda manufacturing site in the world. DuPont has played a key role in the new paint operation’s start-up.
