International Paint, a division of Akzo Nobel, has named Martin Goodman to serve as senior account executive for protective coatings sales in south Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas. Goodman has more than 25 years experience in the coatings industry. Previously Goodman worked in sales for two years at Sumter Coatings. Prior to that, he worked in various sales positions at Carboline, Sherwin-Williams and Southern Coatings.
Jon Palo has been hired to serve as International Paint’s engineering sales manager for protective coatings sales in the western region of the U.S. In his new position, Palo will be responsible for directing the company’s long-term efforts for developing brand awareness and growth of the company’s high-performance protective coatings sales in the industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical and commercial building markets throughout the region.
International Paint has also hired Randy Bauknecht to serve as senior account executive for protective coatings sales in Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Dakotas. A coatings industry veteran for more than 30 years, Bauknecht previously worked as a distributor and manufacturer’s representative for International’s protective and marine divisions for six years.
