Cytec has launched Ucecoat 7631 waterborne UV curable resin for topcoats on outdoor wood joinery. This aliphatic polyurethane dispersion offers weathering resistance as well as chemical and mechanical resistance for wood joinery and other outdoor applications. The translucent Ucecoat 7631 waterborne UV curable dispersion is non-irritant (Xi-free), low VOC and has good colloidal stability. It can be easily formulated and applied by either spray or curtain coating in safe conditions.
