Tego Coatings Additives and Specialty Resins has recently introduced Tego Glide 110, a new universal anti-crater slip and flow additive, which can be used in water- and solvent-based wood coatings, architectural and industrial coatings. It is also suitable for use in radiation curable systems. Tego Glide 110 improves scratch resistance, prevents and eliminates craters due to contamination and improves leveling caused by poor substrate wetting. Tego Glide 110 will also improve anti-blocking and release properties and exhibits a minimal effect on recoatability and foam stabilization. This 100% active polyether siloxane copolymer will remain stable in storage up to 12 months in closed 25 kg containers. It is recommended at additional levels of 0.05% to 1% on the total formulation.
