Clariant launches new
pigments for coatings
Clariant has launched a number of new high performance pigments for industrial and automotive coatings. Hostaperm Red D2G 70 and Hostaperm Red D3G 70 are high performance red pigments based on diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) chemistry used in the industrial coatings and automotive sector.
Licocene PP 1502 fine grain is the newest addition to the range. This additive for powder coatings considerably improves the adhesion of silicon-based products on powder coatings. In addition, it is slip-resistant and improves the handling of powder-coated products. Licocene PP 1502 is manufactured by metallocene catalysis and features a property profile that is tailored to each individual application. More info: Clariant, Web: www.clariant.c
