launches uralac corres
DSM Powder Coating Resins has launched Uralac Corres, a new technology platform based on polyester resins for corrosion protective coatings. The first product in this line, Uralac P7604 is specifically developed for top coat and primer applications and provides corrosion protection in metal coatings. For top coat applications, the Uralac Corres technology offers the ability to significantly reduce and sometimes eliminate chemical pre-treatment steps, thereby creating less waste. Formulated as a primer, Uralac Corres can replace epoxy. The company reports that Uralac Corres performs equal or better than conventional epoxy-based systems, but is more environmentally-friendly.
