Rohm and Haas has launched Duraplus MP emulsion, a new binder for the North American floor finish market. This new multi-purpose, styrene-acrylic waterborne copolymer can be formulated to meet the strictest VOC standards and still outperform traditional solvent- and waterborne semi-transparent stain technologies, according to the company. Floor finishes based on Rhoplex MP emulsion are recommended for periodic and high maintenance environments, such as supermarkets, non-food retail and office building lobbies.
