Rohm and Haas has obtained a patent for a method of producing a coating on the surface of a substrate, the method is comprised of the steps of applying to the surface an aqueous composition comprised of an anionically stabilized binder polymer; applying to the surface an aqueous composition comprised of a vinylamine polymer having from 20-100% by weight of amine functional units, based on total weight of the vinylamine polymer; and drying the coating.
