Jennifer Midura has been appointed AkzoNobel’s director of corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Having joined the company following the acquisition of ICI, Midura played a key role in helping the board of management set the strategic agenda. She previously was in charge of corporate strategy at ICI for six years.
Maarten van den Bergh has announced his resignation from both being chairman and as a member of the supervisory board of AkzoNobel, effective immediately. Karel Vuursteen will be appointed chairman of the supervisory board.
