The Dow Chemical Company has added three new surfactants to the Ecosurf brand of surfactants. Ecosurf EH-3, 6 and 9 surfactants are a new generation of high performance, readily biodegradable surfactants. They are designed for use in paint and coatings, inks, textile processing and agriculture chemicals. Ecosurf EH surfactants have an excellent environmental profile, are biodegradable with low aquatic toxicity and meet the criteria for the U.S. EPA’s Design for the Environment Surfactant Screen, according to the company.
