H.B. Fuller has acquired Nordic Adhesives Technology, a developer and manufacturer of polyurethane flexible packaging laminating adhesives based in Buxtehude, Germany. Nordic’s laminating adhesives complement H.B. Fuller’s existing line. Additional new and innovative Nordic formulations include solventless systems with wide ranging capabilities including biodegradable laminates, high performance aliphatic solvent based systems, and adhesive solutions for high barrier films.
Nordic Adhesives Technology was founded in 2003 by Manfred Römer and Leif Porsberg. Combined, they have more than 70 years of experience formulating break-through technology and troubleshooting flexible packaging operations worldwide. Combining this experience with H.B. Fuller’s global presence and technical knowledge will bring tremendous value to H.B. Fuller customers.
