Sikkens Wood Finishes, manufactured by AkzoNobel Paints, has become a Preferred Product for use in The Bensonwood This Old House Collection of energy-efficient homes. This Preferred Partner status will allow Sikkens woodcare products to be exclusively used to protect the millwork of these new construction homes. The Bensonwood This Old House Collection homes are prefabricated to exacting tolerances by artisans at Bensonwood’s New Hampshire facilities and assembled onsite, minimizing construction time, reducing waste and improving energy-efficiency. The first four homes in the collection feature two to four bedrooms and range in size from 1,500-2,400 square feet.
