BYK-Chemie has launched BYK-313 polyester-modified silicone for use is solventborne systems. BYK-313 is free of HAPs and aromatic solvents. The additive shows a strong reduction of surface tension, higher slop and gloss, according to the company. BYK-313 can be used in a number of applications, including can and coil coatings, general industrial coatings, automotive coatings and wood and furniture coatings.
