Ashland Performance Materials now offers Envirez resin, the industry’s first commercially available unsaturated polyester resin containing renewable materials. The new formulation, Envirez 7241 T-15 resin, is a pre-promoted thixotropic corrosion-resistant isophthalic polyester. The technology can be used to fabricate durable, corrosion-resistant equipment. Envirez 7241 T-15 can be applied in hand lay-up and spray-up applications to create products such as fume hoods, ducts, tanks and pipes in applications where corrosion resistance is required.
