Shamrock Technologies has named Steven M. Parker president and chief operating officer. William B. Neuberg will remain chairman and chief executive officer. Parker, a 30-year veteran of advanced materials industries, has held key executive positions at the former Allied-Signal Corp. (now Honeywell), the Ausimont Division of Montedison SpA, Saint-Gobain and, most recently, as division president and commercial director for UK-based Oxford Instruments. With his background in global business, Parker served in an advisory role to the Shamrock leadership team during much of 2009.
Shamrock has also named Craig Baudendistel director of sales. Immediately prior to joining Shamrock, Baudendistel was the new market development manager at Cargill, Inc. Baudendistel will be responsible for executing the strategic sales and business development efforts of the company’s core inks and coatings businesses. Baudendistel has more than 25 years experience in sales, marketing and business development in inks and coatings. The majority of his experience was gained at Elementis Specialties where he assumed increasingly responsible sales positions ranging from district and regional sales management to business director of inks and coatings.
