Emerald Performance Materials has appointed Thomas Penny technical sales manager of its industrial foam control products. In his new position, Penny will be responsible for developing the strategic direction for defoamers and driving defoamer growth in various markets such as paints and coatings, graphic arts and inks, and emulsion polymerization. Prior to this appointment, Penny was a staff scientist at Ashland Water Technologies for nearly 15 years, supporting its portfolio of specialty additives in coatings and graphic arts applications.
