Bayer MaterialScience launches bio-based solution for self-leveling coatings

Bayer MaterialScience has launched Des mophen 1150 polyester resin and Desmodur VL technologies for self-leveling floors. Desmophen 1150 polyester resin and Desmodur VL technologies are appropriate for a variety of applications requiring a seamless floor, particularly those in the healthcare market, industrial settings and other high-traffic and high-impact areas. These bio-based coatings provide a number of advantages for renovation and refurbishment projects and are appropriate for a variety of applications requiring a seamless floor, particularly those in the healthcare market, industrial settings and other high-traffic and high-impact areas. Decorative topcoats can be applied over the self-leveling coatings, which are compatible with polyaspartic, waterborne and UV topcoat systems.
