FloroProof is a new system in the Florock Industrial Flooring line. When used as a basecoat, the material prevents Moisture Vapor Transmission (MVT) from damaging subsequent floor coatings. Depending upon site conditions and the composition of the concrete mix, there are many occasions when a concrete slab can create undesirably high moisture levels. In such situations, MVT tends to make its way upward through the slab via capillary action, eventually condensing into a high pH liquid that builds up, destroying the ability of the industrial flooring to bond to the substrate. New FloroProof was designed to offer the industrial flooring contractor a solution to this problem.
