Omnova Solutions has launched Pliotec SC55, a self-crosslinking all acrylic latex for the concrete sealer market. This APE-free and formaldehyde-free resin has excellent UV stability, blush resistance and adhesion to concrete said the company. Clear concrete sealers based on this resin prevent hot tire pick-up and can be formulated at less than 100 g/L VOC.
