Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has been granted a patent for a method of forming a vibration damping paint layer comprised of applying an emulsion paint on a surface where the vibration damping layer is desired, of 1˜5 mm thickness, the emulsion paint is comprised of greater than 77.0% weight of a solid portion, 40˜50% volume of pigment, and 2˜14% volume of large sized pigment having a diameter of 40˜100 μm, and heating the vibration damping paint layer at a temperature lower than 140° C for less than 25 minutes.
