Chromaflo Technologies appoints coatings product development specialist

Chromaflo Technologies, an independent global supplier of advanced colorants and chemical dispersions for the paint, coatings and thermoset plastics industry, has appointed Steve Shaklee as product development specialist, reporting to Selby Brannon, technology director, Americas. Shaklee brings with him over 20 years of experience as a product manager and chemist in the coatings industry. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of coating product development including, raw material selection, dispersion development, product processing, quality testing, and customer approval. Chromaflo Technologies is the combination of the former Plasticolors Inc. and the Colortrend global colorants business.
