Troy Corporation announced that its performance powder coating additive formerly known as Powdermate EX2099 has been renamed Powdermate 575FL. The new name represents the next generation in flow and leveling, enabling the production of pigmented coatings with uncompromised gloss and topcoats with exceptional clarity the company said. The high performance additive helps coatings to resist cratering, orange peel, and hazing, thereby providing a defect-free surface appearance. 575FL further provides excellent recoatability, intercoat adhesion, and delamination resistance. 575FL is effective in both thermal and UV-cured systems and is compatible with all commercial resin systems.
