U.S. Zinc has promoted Rodrigo Daud to president of the company. The former Votorantim executive vice president of commercial zinc for the global market, Daud will be responsible for promoting the global integration and leveraging the results of U.S. Zinc. As EVP of commercial zinc, Daud developed new markets and products for the company’s presence in Brazil and Peru. He also served as the head of operations at one of the plants of Votorantim’s nickel business for three years. Throughout his tenure at Votorantim Metais, of which U.S. Zinc is an affiliate, Daud rapidly progressed in experience and responsibility, working in areas such as maintenance, engineering and production.
