Ralf Spettmann was appointed senior vice president of the Pigments and Resins Europe business unit of BASF. Previously, he was senior vice president of the Fuel and Lubricant Solutions unit. In his new function, he will be in charge of the product families of pigments, resins and additives for the coating, paint, printing and packaging industry. The Pigments and Resins Europe unit is part of the Dispersions and Pigments division of BASF.
Spettmann succeeds Jan-Peter Sander, who has become head of the Personal Care Europe unit.
