ACT Test Panels is highlighting its new standardized test panels for marine and protective coatings. The blast panels are hot rolled steel with a 2 mil surface profile.

"When dealing with protective and marine coatings the industry has struggled with standardized substrates," said Brad Kimpell, vice president, business development and sales at ACT Test Panels. "We are now offering these standardized panels which are 2 mils."

ACT Blast Panels are blast to a near white finish with a surface profile of 2 ± 0.5 mil. Panels are packaged in a variety of quantities, wrapped with VCI paper, vacuum sealed in Mylar and boxed for shipping.
