DESCRIPTION Silsurf®A008-UP is a very low molecular weight ethoxylated polydimethylsiloxane.Silsurf®A008-UP is a water-soluble silicone surfactant with excellent surface tension reduction, wetting and spreading capabilities.
USES AND APPLICATION Silsurf®A008-UP is a super wetter that can be used in formulations or processes where fast wetting and spreading is required. Silsurf®A008-UP, at a use level of 0.1%, reduces the surface tension of water to below 20 dynes/cm and is therefore an excellent wetting and spreading agent. Silsurf®A008-UP’s wetting properties are useful in various industrial applications e.g. inks & coatings, agricultural, leather, textile and any other applications where strong surface tension reduction, wetting and spreading are desired.
