Charles Kimbler joined ChemQuest Technology Institute (CQTI) as a director. Kimbler is NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) CIP Level 3 certified. “I am eager to work with clients applying my specialty chemicals knowledge in various technological disciplines for their increased profitability through innovation. I look forward to my association with ChemQuest’s Technology Institute in South Boston, VA, and working with my new colleagues and clients,” Kimbler said. Prior to joining CQTI, he worked as a global technical service and development manager for Michelman’s coatings group. He worked for Sherwin-Williams for 22 years, going from a coatings chemist to global product manager. Kimbler finished his Sherwin-Williams tenure as a senior scientist in the company’s protective and marine coatings segment. “We feel confident that ChemQuest Technology Institute clients will benefit from Charles’ diverse successes in the coatings’ value chain ranging from applied R&D, to sales and marketing, to product management of finished coatings and raw materials,” said Dan Murad, president/CEO of ChemQuest.
