Vertellus announced the completion of its acquisition of IM Chemicals, the intermediates and specialties division of ESIM Chemicals and a leading provider of specialty chemical products serving the pharmaceutical, coatings, and fuel & lubricant markets. With the addition of IM Chemicals, Vertellus expands its specialty ingredients portfolio into new markets and bolsters its manufacturing capabilities in Europe. The combination strengthens Vertellus’ capability to serve its global customer base. “I am confident that our shared commitment to customer satisfaction and product excellence will drive our growth and strengthen our position as a premier global provider of specialty ingredients and solutions,” said John Van Hulle, CEO of Vertellus.
