WEG Expands Global Presence in Angola with Anti-Corrosion Coatings

WEG was involved in the anti-corrosion protection project for the metal structures of the Barra do Dande Terminal, a strategic venture for Angola’s oil and gas sector.

The solutions provided by WEG ensured greater efficiency, durability, and safety for the terminal, which is essential for the transportation and storage of petroleum derivatives. 

Throughout the project, WEG specialists closely followed every stage, from the meticulous surface preparation to the application of anti-corrosion solutions.

Using methods such as abrasive blasting and manual sanding, the structures were treated to ensure maximum adhesion and performance of the protective layers.
