In the first quarter of 2026, the Śnieżka Group generated PLN 164.8 million ($45.4 million)  in sales revenue, down 4.3% year-on-year, while revenue increased by 14.6% year-on-year in Hungary, its largest foreign market.

The group’s EBITDA in the reporting period amounted to PLN 28.7 million ($7.9 million, up 7.9% year-on-year), and net profit was PLN 14.0 million ($3.9 million, up 29.8% year-on-year).

The situation in individual markets was as follows:

• Poland: domestic sales at PLN 121.2 million, down 5.6% year-on-year.

• Hungary: revenues of PLN 21.7 million, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year in the group currency and 7.2% in the local currency.

• Ukraine: sales of PLN 14.8 million, a 20.9% decrease year-on-year in the group’s currency and an 11% decrease year-on-year in the local currency.

The group maintains discipline in terms of its debt structure – at the end of the first quarter of 2026, the net debt/EBITDA ratio decreased to 1.1 (compared to 1.6 a year ago).

“The beginning of the year is traditionally a time for us to prepare for the season itself,” Witold Wasko, VP of the Management Board and Financial Director, says. “This year’s first-quarter results are a result of the persistently low demand for decorative products. Analyzing the results of industry players, it’s also worth noting this year’s exceptionally demanding winter, which may have also impacted consumer activity.

“Sales dynamics in the Śnieżka Group’s key markets varied – negative in Poland and Ukraine, but positive in Hungary, where revenues increased in the first quarter of 2026 and where, as we note, consumer demand is recovering,” Wasko adds. “The season itself is ahead of us, and both our net debt and operating capital levels confirm a solid base for operations in the coming months.”
