WEG CEO Alberto Kuba was one of the winners of the 26th edition of the “Executive of the Year” award, promoted by the newspaper Valor Econômico.
The executive was recognized in the Machinery and Equipment category, which highlights business leadership in the sector throughout 2025.
The selection of the winners is based on nominations from executives of the main executive search companies affiliated with the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).
The evaluation criteria include innovation, leadership management, versatility, and the promotion of diversity and socio-environmental responsibility.
In total, 23 executives were awarded, representing 19 sectors of the economy. The award also includes four special categories: successful startup; best chairman of the board of directors; best young leader; and the executive who stood out the most in activities focused on society.
